October 24, 2019 / Washington, D.C.

The first-ever Race To Save The World event, hosted by The Daily Beast in partnership with Pfizer, took off with a strong start. Held at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre, the summit united expert speakers with an audience of highly engaged opinion leaders to explore the key challenges humanity faces—and develop integral solutions to survive and thrive.

Coming out of the event, it is clear that leaders are eager to engage with their peers about these complex topics. Facilitating intimate conversations that go deep on one issue is key to ensuring the program remains forward-looking and actionable.

16 EXPERTS
We invited 16 experts in key sectors—climate, global health, and food & water supply—to lead the conversations and Q&As, engaging directly with the audience.

100 LEADERS
Nearly 100 curated, qualified attendees included an impressive mix of high-level executives from top organizations across a range of relevant sectors.

4 HOURS
The half-day program ran from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., beginning with a networking breakfast, followed by a keynote speech, three moderated panels, two fireside chats, and closing remarks.
